Ji Lee was born in Korea, raised in Brazil and lives in New York. Ji studied graphic design and advertising.

Ji’s passionate about working on personal projects. His projects include the Bubble Project, Word as Image and Drawings for My Grandchildren.

Ji was named one of the 50 most influential designers in America by Fast Company. Ji’s work has appeared in the New York Times, BBC, ABC News, The Guardian, Wired among others. Ji’s the author of three books and a frequent contributor for The New York Times and The New Yorker.
