About Ji Lee
Ji Lee was born in Korea, raised in Brazil, and after many years in New York, Ji has recently moved to Seoul, Korea to work as Executive Vice President at Samsung Global Marketing. Ji’s past jobs include: Creative Director at Facebook, Google and Droga5.
Ji works in the fields of advertising, graphic design, marketing, product design, street art, animation, installation, gaming and video. Ji is a public speaker, teacher and an advocate of the “Power of Personal Projects.” His projects include the Bubble Project, Word as Image and Drawings for My Grandchildren.
Ji was named one of the 50 most influential designers in America by Fast Company. Ji’s work has appeared in the New York Times, Time magazine, Newsweek, BBC, ABC News, The Guardian, Wired among others. Ji’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries in New York, Seoul, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Torino, Lisbon, St. Petersburg and Iran. Ji’s the author of five books.
