NY Times Magazine, How Christian Were the Founders?Article about the influence of fundamental Christians in how the American text books are written. It examines how Christian the founders were and how much of it should be reflected in the text books.

Above image was selected as one of the images featured in the magazine. Following are the images I wish were chosen instead.

NY Times Magazine, How Christian Were the Founders?Jesus examines the Constitution.

I was really pushing for this image because I felt it added another layer of complexity of the issue of reality versus fantasy / fact versus faith. In the end, this image was rejected because it didn't quite fit with other images featured in the article.
